Introduction
In this member spotlight, Rebecca Bealer, Head of Serials and Systems Librarian at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Library, reflects on her experience as NASIG's representative to IFLA's Serials and Continuing Resources (SCORE) section. She shares the professional and personal rewards of engaging with library colleagues internationally, the challenges of an increasingly consolidated workload in technical services, and her advice on essential skills for middle managers. Rebecca encourages NASIG members to consider volunteering as IFLA SCORE representative when the next call goes out in mid-2027.
