Abstract
Exploring mental, emotional, and social health (MESH) issues within the context of summer camp is integralfor the present and future care of campers and staff. This research brief highlights key findings from the Alliance forCamp Health’s 2022 mixed-methods study of the MESH issues experienced by campers and staff and ways camps aremanaging those issues. Four key findings and related recommendations for camp leadership and health care providersare presented, highlighting resources and operational changes that can help the camp community traverse the complexMESH landscape.
