Abstract
The discussion surrounding vaccination requirements for summer camps is not new; however, the COVID-19 pandemic and recent measles outbreaks brought with them a renewed energy to the debate. This is especially true for pediatric oncology camps, where campers are frequently immunocompromised due to their treatment for cancer. Seeking to best protect their campers and staff from preventable illnesses, multiple member camps of the Children’s Oncology Camping Association (COCA) asked about the vaccination policies and procedures of other COCA member camps to help guide their practices.
