Summary

To dry lumber, thin sticks of wood, or stickers, are placed at specific intervals between the layers of lumber. In this publication, we explain the process of cutting stickers from a single log using a portable sawmill. Our target audience are forest landowners who own a sawmill or are interested in investing in a sawmill in the future, and new and beginning portable sawmill owners.
