Abstract
Sandusky, Ohio is located along the Sandusky Bay in Lake Erie. In recent years the city, especially the waterfront and downtown districts, have started to see several positive changes, such as an increase in mixed use building conversions, restoration of numerous historic buildings, and the opening of many local restaurants and retail stores. Much of this redevelopment is a result of the large tourist population the city receives from visitors to the Cedar Point amusement par, and the numerous boating marinas that are located in the historic downtown.
