Abstract
Ecosystems provide services and resources such as providing food and freshwater that are vital to not only human well-being but play a key role that has an effect on the overall well-being of the natural environment around the globe. With the use of green infrastructure within urban and rural landscapes, a network of green areas can be planned and implemented to enhance the resiliency of species and ecosystems that can adapt to climate change better than gray infrastructure (Ecological, 2011).
