Abstract
The relationship between watershed and city is one of the topics that has been discussed over decades, other than the opportunities riverfront provides for great projects, the waterfront design also define the city space. This study will investigate the problem of post-industrial city districts along the Yangtze River in Wuhan, China. It will also address the emerging urban issues along the Yangtze River corridor, and provide design with environmental, cultural and social benefits that can raise the public awareness of the significance of watershed to the city.
