Abstract

This study focuses on natural playgound, specially using the shifting topography to maximize children's physical activities. The study analyzes the successfully designed natural playground with hillsides, what's the suitable slope size for different age group children to play and how the combination of natural materials and artificial materials can create playground into a efficient play place. Specific site has been analyzed to attain information in regards to natural playground being the the place can encourage children have more physical activities. The goal of this study is to find design ways of natural playground on shifting topography which can maximize children's physical activities, in order to develop a healthy lifestyle.
