Abstract
In the past, waterfront areas experienced a period of depression and decline. Today, with urban economic redevelopment and efforts to improve the environment, waterfront areas hasve become an important part of the city again. A successful waterfront landscape project can offer many benefits to citizens. This study mainly focuses on maximize nature feature by using existing recreation activities to recall local memory and ecological restoration to heal the polluted land. The goal of this study is find out design ways to make the waterfront landscape attractive for citizens and make fuller use of existing functions in the new waterfront areas.
