Abstract

This is a rather open assignment for graduate-level or upper undergraduate social studies education students that asks them to think about the role of civic education in their own classrooms. They are asked to design a trip, in as much detail as possible that engages students in the concept of civic engagement with their own communities. Students are asked to present the assignment to their classmates.
