Abstract
Statements made by Governor Thurmond and the Honorable Butler B. Hare before the US House of Representatives' Commitee on Appropriations concerning the Clark Hill project, printed in the Congressional Record. The Clark Hill project was a hydrolelectric dam to be built on the Savannah River, now known as the J. Strom Thurmond Dam.
