This course is appropriate for a 100-level designation. The course explores civic engagement and citizenship in a globalized world. It examines belonging, dialogue skills, and collective responsibilities within local, national, and global communities. Students will undertake a civic engagement project on forced migration and refugee resettlement or food justice, alongside experiential learning activities, including reading discussions, reflections, community site visits, and conversations with engaged community members.
