Corn earworm is the most common pest of field corn in the southeastern United States. In addition to corn, it is a major pest of a number of other crops including soybeans, cotton, sorghum, and several vegetable crops. Management of this pest through integrated pest management is important in reducing the impact of this pest across the southeastern farmscape.
