Summary

Using alternative agricultural methods to produce food for family consumption or generate income is critical due to food safety concerns with commercially cultivated produce. One alternative method that is becoming popular is aquaponic production which allows for fresh produce and a healthy protein. This series provides a complete list of possibilities for aquaponics and system operation. In this article, system components will be discussed within the series and provide important information and choices about how an aquaponics system can be constructed.
