Abstract

This capstone assignment invites students to critically analyze the 2024 US election cycle using civic and policy lenses. Students examine voting outcomes, campaign strategies, demographic shifts, and broader public engagement trends. They submit recommendations for political parties and policymakers based on historical patterns, political behavior research, and public opinion data. Students may choose their output format (e.g., essay, infographic, podcast) and optionally use generative AI, accompanied by a structured AI Use & Reflection Report. The assignment is designed to integrate civic reasoning, historical context, and action-oriented political learning.
