Abstract

This assignment asks students to research a local organization addressing a social issue of their choice, analyze which of the six Pathways to Public Service are represented in the organization's work, and identify alternative pathways through other organizations addressing the same issue. Students prepare a 5-minute presentation that demonstrates their understanding of diverse approaches to civic engagement and creates opportunities for their own civic participation.
