To address this concern and empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed dietary choices, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) introduced the MyPlate guide.This intuitive visual representation offers practical guidelines for creating balanced meals that support overall well-being. The MyPlate guide serves as a bridge between the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and practical implementation. By using MyPlate to help assist EFNEP participants in cultivating healthier eating habits helps reduce future healthcare costs and improve quality of life.
